Sultan Sadyraliev (Султан Садыралиев) is a contemporary Kyrgyz–Kazakh pop singer. He sings in both languages, though more often Kyrgyz.

Sadyraliev has been on the Kyrgyz music scene for several years; he has been consistently appearing on Kyrgyz radio hit parade lists from 2012 or so. He is unique among current Kyrgyz singers in part because of his religious faith, which often comes through in his music. He has also called himself a Kyrgyz patriot, beliving in the beauty and potential of his country. He is most famous for his song “Kyrgyz Dance” (“Кыргыз бийи”), for which he filmed a music video in 2014. The song was written by Kyyalbek Urmambetov (Кыялбек Урмамбетов), a famous Kyrgyz poet (and Mirlan Niyazov arranged it). The song and music video show traditional Kyrgyz dances in efforts to bring them back to a wider audience, and the dances were performed by members of popular Kyrgyz dance troups. The clip also includes shots of historical landmarks in Kyrgyzstan.

Sadyraliev can also be heard on a number of film soundtracks. He performed Mirbek Atabekov’s song “You Are In My Dreams” (“Кыялымдасын”) in Kazakh for the film My Girlfriend’s Hero (Герой моей девушки), from Ruslan Akun (Руслан Акун), the director of the popular Kyrgyz film Salaam, New York (Салаам, Нью-Йорк). In addition, in 2013 his song “Кайдасын” became the lead song on the soundtrack to the Kyrgyz film Expected (Ожидаемая / Коргум келет).

He is also active on the benefit-show scene: in 2013 he took part in the charitable action Good Hearts (Добрие сердца), which aimed to help children suffering from heart diseases and to help them to have needed surgeries.

“Kyrgyz Dance” (“Кыргыз бийи”):

Lyrics for “Кыргыз бийи”:

“I’m Telling You” (“Кош айтам сага”):

Lyrics for “Кош айтам сага”:
